Kim Bender is a native of the Lake George area. Leaving New York after graduating high school she moved to California. She became a licensed real estate salesperson in the San Francisco Bay area and is a Certified Negotiation Expert.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management with high honors from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. While in California she held various high level management positions within Pacific Bell, (which is now AT&T).
After returning to the Lake George area she dedicated herself to community involvement. She is the cofounder of an environmental protection organization, PROTECT and The Committee for Better Government. She has been active in various efforts to improve our local government and protect the quality and beauty of Lake George, while promoting business and residential development.
She is a motivated business professional with experience in project management, real estate, business management, community leadership, campaign management, telecommunications, training, methods and procedures development, local government initiatives, grant writing and environmental protection.
Her key strengths include team leadership, organizational skills, project management, issue identification, problem solving, marketing, customer service, planning, community outreach and local municipality planning and governance.
She is currently a member of the Lake George Association, Pilot Knob Association and Lake George Watershed Coalition. Her goal is to assist in achieving a balance between development and protection of the Lake.
Her commitment to the work she has done in the community speaks for itself. She is a dedicated professional and well qualified to meet the customer’s real estate needs on a full time basis.
