Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Samantha Mathis fell in love with real estate after buying her first home in Hollywood Hills. The field marries her love of architecture and design with her passion for helping others.
Upon returning to New York 12 years ago, Samantha instantly fell in love with the Hudson Valley, its historical homes, wide-open landscapes, incredible farm-fresh food, and vibrant creative community. She became a full-time resident in the area in 2020.
Activism has always played a role in Samantha’s life. An accomplished actress, she spent 10 years serving on the National Board of SAG-AFTRA. The experience has given her firsthand knowledge of negotiation techniques and the importance of determination in working toward a good cause.
When not working, Samantha can be found with her rescue dog Annie hiking the trails of Won Dharma, High Falls, and Roeliff Jansen Park, or on their daily visits to the dog park in Hudson, NY.
