School Policies & Terms
Manfred Real Estate Learning Center is committed to providing a professional, secure, and compliant learning environment. Please review the following policies and requirements carefully.
School Policies
Membership Membership Discontinuation Course Requirements Payments Course Procedures & Refunds Academic Integrity & Learner Identity Help & Troubleshooting Licensing Course RequirementsManfred Member Duration Principles
The term of membership within the Manfred Real Estate Learning Center spans a minimum of 24 months or encompasses one license cycle, favoring whichever of these periods is longer. This assures that our members benefit from sustained access to our services and resources for an optimal duration.
Membership is Not Transferable
The Manfred Real Estate Learning Center does not allow members to transfer their membership to another person or entity. This policy ensures that each member receives the full benefits of their membership and that no one else can use their account without permission.
Membership is Not Refundable
The Manfred Real Estate Learning Center does not offer refunds on membership fees or other payments made by members, except where otherwise required by law or specifically provided for under these policies.
ANY HOLDER OF THIS AGREEMENT IS LIABLE TO ALL POTENTIAL CLAIMS AND DEFENCES WHICH THE DEBTOR MAY COUNTER AGAINST THE PROVIDER OF GOODS OR SERVICES ACQUIRED IN CONSEQUENCE OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THROUGH ITS PROCEEDS. THE DEBTOR'S RECOVERY HEREUNDER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE SUM PAID BY THE DEBTOR UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
In a scenario where a member's payment surpasses the lateness of 90 days, it should be expressly understood that the balance remaining would be instantly due for settlement in its entirety.
In the event that a member's account is suspended due to non-payment, the member will not be able to access their account until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
Membership Discontinuation Protocols
The course of action for membership discontinuation is executed through the Member Services Department at the Manfred Real Estate Learning Center, located at:
595 New Loudon Road, Suite 327
Latham, NY 12110
All cessation requests must be submitted either in writing or via email to john@manfredrelc.com no less than 30 days prior to the succeeding billing date.
Premature Membership Termination
In case a member wishes to cease their contract prematurely for any given reason or due to terminating their membership on account of payment failures, their request will be considered after settling a cancellation fee of $335.00 or whatever remains of the dues in their contract, choosing the lesser amount.
Conditions for Membership Utilization
Our members and learners need to be conscious of and comply with the fact that a 100% attendance requirement for any course exists as per the Department of State stipulations to be eligible for a certificate of completion.
The discretion to postpone or call off any scheduled course solely lies with the Manfred Real Estate Learning Center. In the circumstances of course rescheduling or cancellations, members will not be qualified for any membership reimbursement. However, members who have borne the expense of advanced training seminars that are cancelled may receive a complete refund or retain a credit for future course offerings.
Members of Manfred are entitled to limitless access to our continuously offered education programs. Certain advanced training courses may be approved for continuing education. A number of these advanced training courses have discounts extended to members.
Members are responsible for maintaining and renewing their real estate licenses in a timely manner.
For a duration of 5 years, the Manfred Real Estate Learning Center will retain a detailed record of all members' completed courses. Upon formal request, members can obtain copies of their certificates of completion at no extra cost.
Default and Delayed Payments
Should a member default on any payment obligations as specified in this agreement, Manfred Real Estate Learning Center reserves the right to declare the remaining balance due and payable. This includes agreeing to pay allowable interest and costs of collection such as collection agency fees, court costs, and attorney fees.
A default situation arises when any payment outlined in this agreement is overdue by more than thirty days. In such cases, an additional service fee will be incurred for any check, draft, credit card, or order returned due to insufficient funds or any other reason.
Members paying monthly fees via electronic funds transfer (EFT) may have all owed amounts, including late fees and service fees, drafted by the school's billing company, Stripe.
Those who stop or change their EFT payments may be subject to a $5.00 increase in monthly fees. This will not alter any other provision of this agreement.
In-Class and Self-Paced Course Procedures
All students enrolled in in-class courses or self-paced courses need to fully pay registration fees prior to course commencement.
For in-class courses, Manfred Real Estate Learning Center holds the exclusive right to cancel or reschedule courses. In such instances, paid students become eligible for a full refund or a credit for later courses.
Students who fail to show up without providing notice at least 4 business days prior to the course will forfeit their paid fees.
Self-Paced Course Refund Policy
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to help@manfredrelc.com within seven (7) days of course enrollment.
Refunds will not be issued if:
- A certificate of completion has been awarded;
- More than 25% of the course has been completed; or
- More than seven (7) days have passed since enrollment.
Processing time: Up to 10 business days.
Academic Integrity & Learner Identity Policy
Manfred Real Estate Learning Center is committed to maintaining the integrity of its educational programs and ensuring that course credit is awarded only to the learner who is officially enrolled in and personally completes the course.
Learner Identity
Each learner is required to complete their own coursework, activities, quizzes, assessments, and examinations. A learner may not allow another individual to access their account or complete any course requirement on their behalf.
Learners may not misrepresent their identity or assist another person in misrepresenting their identity for the purpose of completing coursework, assessments, or examinations.
Students are required to present a valid photo ID during the school-proctored final examination. The proctor will verify the student's identity before the student is permitted to take the examination.
Academic Integrity and Cheating
All learners are expected to complete course requirements honestly and independently unless collaboration is specifically authorized by the instructor.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Having another individual complete coursework, quizzes, assessments, or examinations on the learner's behalf.
- Completing coursework, quizzes, assessments, or examinations for another learner.
- Sharing account login information for the purpose of allowing another individual to participate in or complete course requirements.
- Misrepresenting or falsifying learner identity.
- Using unauthorized notes, materials, websites, electronic devices, artificial intelligence tools, or other assistance during an examination when such assistance has not been expressly permitted.
- Copying, photographing, recording, reproducing, distributing, or sharing examination questions or other protected assessment materials.
- Providing examination questions, answers, or protected assessment materials to another individual.
- Attempting to circumvent course participation, attendance, progression, assessment, or identity-verification requirements.
Violations
Suspected violations of this Academic Integrity & Learner Identity Policy may be reviewed by Manfred Real Estate Learning Center.
When a violation is confirmed, Manfred Real Estate Learning Center may take appropriate action consistent with applicable school and regulatory requirements. This may include invalidating an examination or assessment, requiring the learner to repeat an assessment or examination, withholding a certificate of completion, or dismissing the learner from the course.
Manfred Real Estate Learning Center may also report confirmed violations to the appropriate regulatory authority when required by law or regulation.
